Malik-Akmal Gets Place in 30 Member Squad of Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announces 30 members player name for ICC T20 World Cup 2014 in Bangladesh. Wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal and all-rounder Shoaib Malik has got entrance in T20 squad of Pakistan. Team starts the tournament with a super-10 match against all-time favorite rival India.

Both Akmal and Malik were not in the eye of Pakistan selectors for T20 games, but somehow they have managed to get place in probable Pakistani team squad. It is believed that Pakistan will play this world cup under the captaincy of Muhammad Hafeez. Boom-boom Afridi is also in the 30 players list of Pakistan.

Pakistan has already won 2009 t-20 world cup in England whereas they were runners-up in 2007 inaugural world cup in South-Africa. Pakistan will be eyeing to claim one more ICC T20 trophy this year. Pakistan will play against current world champions West-Indies, India, Australia and one qualifier from group stage to reach the semi-finals of world cup.
