5th ICC T20 men’s world cup trophy arrives with 4th icc t20 women’s world cup trophy in Bangladesh. All 6 event ambassadors were present on this occasion. Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, women’s captain Salma Khatun were available on this occasion along with Nasir Hossain, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Ayasha Rahman.
T20 World Cup 2014 trophy will tour all hosting cities of Bangladesh before tournament begins from 16 March. On first day trophy was on tour of Dhaka after the ceremony at airport. Some historical places of Dhaka like The Shaheed Minar, Shahbag, Manik Mia Avenue, Polashi were witness of ICC T20 World Cup 2014 trophy.
The shining T20 World Cup 2014 trophy will reach Sylhet and Chittagong soon. Trophy will tour all the most important parts and areas of these cities in a container truck followed by traditional horse carts and local drums (dhol).
This year’s world cup trophy is 51 CM tall which designed by Links of London. The weight of men’s trophy is 7.5 Kilogram whereas women’s trophy weighs 6 Kg. Previous men’s ICC T20 World Cup trophy winners are India (2007), Pakistan (2009). England (2010) and West-Indies won competition in 2012. England women team won 2009 T20 World Cup whereas Australia women team won 2010 and 2012 world cups.
