An attacking left-handed batsman from Delhi, Nitish Rana has grown up playing cricket at Feroz Shah Kotla and rubbing shoulders in cricket camps with his fellow Delhi mates, Mithun Manhas, Rajat Bhatia and Shikhar Dhawan. After a string of meaningful contributions in the domestic circuit, the Mumbai Indians acquired Rana in 2015. He came into the limelight in 2017 after noteworthy performances with the bat while batting in top order. He scored 333 runs in 13 games in the 2017 edition of the IPL.
