Cristiano Ronaldo joined his Portugal team mates in training in Oieras near Lisbon for the first time since his Champions League triumph with Real Madrid earlier this year! This will be the third time he will be playing in the World Cup. He took a few days off after winning the Champions League. Although Ronaldo won the Euro Cup with Portugal, at 33, this is last chance for Ronaldo to win the biggest international football competition.
He will be playing in Portugal’s friendly match against Algeria before going to Russia to participate in the World Cup. Ronaldo also took some time out between his training sessions to sign some autographs for his young fans.
Ronaldo and his teammates will be facing Spain in their first match of the World Cup on the 15th of this month.
