Chennaiyin FC suffered yet another defeat to the dismay of the fans as they were outclassed by ATK 2-3. The defending champions Chennaiyin now have five points from 10 matches and are at the eighth positon, while ATK climbed up to the fifth spot. Chennaiyin committed plenty of unforced errors and failed to convert chances and capitalize on the opportunities. After Jayesh Rane drew first blood for ATK, Chennaiyin equalized in the 24th minute via Thoi Singh. However, a handball from Eli Sabiacost them dearly as Bruno stepped up to the occasion and converted. To add salt to injury, ATK earned yet another penalty due to substitute Salom’s handball and Bruno yet again converted in the 80th minute of the match. A late goal from Vanmalsawma in the 88th minute could not save the home team from a 3-2 defeat.
