Banned Aussie Players Infuriated Over Administrators

Former Aussie Captain Ian Chappell shared his thoughts on the recent infamous ball tampering scandal. He criticized the “arrogant” and “controlling culture” at Cricket Australia administration. He said that the banned players, the trio of Steve Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft, have the right to express their frustration on the CA administrators. He maintained that if the players receive the punishment so should the administrators working from the back end. He stated that this is bound to ruin the relationship between CA and the players.

His remarks were based on the review of the scandal assessment by a Sydney-based Ethics Centre. The former Aussie batsman further added that this has been “the history of the game”. The players always have to pay the price for the wrong doings of the administrators. And thus the players who have to bear the indignity and defamation, should have the right to share their opinions.
