Belgium’s win against England brings the team to the top with a 100 percent record. Both the teams were qualified even before the ball was kicked. The Belgians were the first to threaten; Jordan Pickford denied Mousa Dembele early on before keeping out Maroune Fellaini. But soon enough Adnan Januzaj ensured that the fans get their money’s worth. With six minutes in hand, Belgium’s attacking midfielder dropped a shoulder, skipped past Danny Rode and curled a left-footed strike into the top corner. England’s Phil Jones has an opportunity to equalise the score and even Marcus Rashford went close, but Belgium held on to secure their third win in all their matches in Russia 2018 and clinch the top spot in the group.
