Bengaluru FC registered away win against Kerala Blasters 2-1 on Monday. Skipper Sunil Chhetri Scored the opening goal in the 17th minute of the match. However, Kerala managed to turn the table scoring an equalizer from a spot kick by SlavisaStojanovic in the 30th minute of the match. Unfortunately for the hosts, an own goal by Nikola Krcmarevic cost the Kerala side dearly as they lost the match.
The victory ensured Bengaluru FC have now won all three consecutive away matches and are in supreme form. They also maintained an unbeaten win streak against the Kerala side in all the three matches that they have played.
CK Vineeth again had the opportunity to open the scoring. But his shot went a tad bit over the bar. Dimas Delgado’s free kick delivery, headed by Jhingan Landed on the feet of the Australian, whose shot was cleared by Lalruatthara. And ultimately, Chhetri scored the opening.
