Bhajji's 'Bangnam Style' and Tendulkar's injury showered the social networking sites with comments

Hey! This is not about 'Gangnam Style'. The Mumbai Indians (MI) fans are magnetized by Bhajji's 'Bangnam Style' as the MI outwitted Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League play-off at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday.

There was speculation over Tendulkar's fitness throughout the day. However to the despair of the fans, the news arrived in the late evening that he would not take the ground.

The fans of 'paltan' or MI assembled to cheer on the men in blue on social networking sites with the common war slogan "we will rock the world”. Numerous comments showered supporting master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and bowler Harbhajan Singh popularly called as Bhajji.

A dedicated fan declared on the social networking site supporting Mumbai Indians that “Aaj Mi Indian ko kisika baap nahi rok sakta itne se. Today we will view ‘bangnam style’ by Bhajji to Watson and his co members." Another MI fan wrote that “Duniya hela denge hum. Go go go paltan.”

The comments mainly showered in Hinglish. But the use of Marathi could not be ignored. A comment read as: "Today MI vs RR. Come on MI gheun tak” which means come on Mumbai Indians take it!

Tendulkar's fans made enthusiastic appeals on the social networking site for the legend to play Friday's match which says “Mumbai Indians-We will Rock the World”. A strict Tendulkar supporter commented that "Please allow Sachin play today and drop Rayudu as he is of no use at the bottom rather it will raise a good batting depth."

To the shock of everyone, skipper Rohit Sharma proclaimed during the toss that the little master was not yet fit. Clinging to the hopes, some fans commented on the microblogging site that Tendulkar should take rest and save it up for the D-day Sunday. A well wisher tweeted that "Sachin should take rest for another match because his presence/fitness in final match will be crucial for us, what to say?"

Tendulkar had hurt his left hand and wrist while batting during Mumbai's home game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 13th May. He could not play the last two MI league games as well as the first qualifier match against Chennai Super Kings since then.
