Luiz Felipe Scolari informed on Wednesday that he still didn’t decide whether veteran footballers Kaka and Ronaldinho together will be included in the Brazilian national team.
The 2002 World Cup winning coach did not call Ronaldinho for friendly matches against Italy in Geneva on Thursday and Russia in London on Monday. In contrary Ronaldinho was included in the 2-1 defeat to England at Wembley last month while Kaka was excluded. Both Kaka and Ronaldinho are known as integral playmakers in the Brazilian football team. But Felipao, as Scolari is called in his homeland does not want to take the risk of playing them together in the Brazilian team.
Scolari prefers playing them separately and wants to give them chance one by one. Then later it will be seen whether it is better to play them together or not. Scolari declared that he is using Selecao’s friendly matches to select the best players for the Confederations’ Cup which is going to take place in June. He still didn’t decide on the group. These training sessions and matches will indicate which players should be chosen for the upcoming Confederations’ Cup. Although Scolari is using these friendlies to experiment, he is still interested to win them to build momentum. Scolari added that the result is also important. They need to exhibit more strength, belief, confidence which can only be obtained by winning, hence result is important. We are eager to know whether Scolari’s decision can bring victory to the Brazilian football team or not.
