Chaos over selection of Women National Coach

There is a lot of hue and cry regarding the appointment of National team`s coach. The Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators(CoA) were in the process of forming an ad-hoc committee to pick the right candidate. First they posted a fresh advertisement on their website, inviting applications for the post of India's National Women`s Coach. While CoA chairman Vinod Rai`s decision was protested by another member of the CoA Edulji saying that “Ramesh Powar should beappointed as the coach of the national team".Edulji reasoned that If Virat Kohli can have a say in selecting the coach of the Indian team  then why not Kaur have a say to choose her own coach?The matter of fact is that Ravi Shastri was selected by the Cricket Advisory Committee of three members namely Tendulkar, Laxman and Ganguly and not by Kohli.There have been instances when CVs were being asked for but then again all the applications were rejected in the past…the nuber of rejected applications be 24.They wonder if the entire process of selection is a sham.
