CR7 was no longer “indispensable” at Real Madrid

The enigmatic goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo stated that he decided to leave Real Madrid after he felt he was no longer “indispensable”. He said he took the decision to part ways with the Spanish giant after he felt the club, especially club president ,Florentino Perez, “no longer considered” him “in the same way as” he “was at the beginning”. He said this in an interview with France Football magazine.

The 33-year old Portuguese sensation joined Juventus after a 100 million-euro deal in July. During his tenure at Madrid, he achieved numerous glorious feats both personally as well with his team.

After winning the Champions League for the third consecutive season defeating Liverpool in the finals, Zinedine Zidane left the team. The departure of Madrid coach Zidane, came as a confirmation to him that it might be “time to move on”. He is looking forward to win the Ballon d’Or for the sixth time thus surpassing Messi.
