The acrimony between Mitali Raj and coach Ramesh Powar reaches its height when the later accused the former of ill `attitude` during the World T20 tournament. Coach Ramesh Powar alleged her that she threatened to retire from the tournament if she does not get her preferred batting position. Nitali Raj completely denied the aspersions cast on her. She posted her response to Ramesh`s allegations in Twitter which certainly generated a furor in the fans and certainly a large mass.She reiterated that she is deeply saddened as it questions her patriotism ,her love for the nation and her love for cricket that she showered over the last 20 years.
Powar in his 10 pages report to the BCCI stated that Mitali threatened to leave the tournament midway when denied an opening slot.It seems she thinks about individual gains first than the team`s interest. Ramesh Powar`s tenure ends on Friday but most unlikely that he will be retained.
