MSD!! MSD!! The cheers go on and so does MSD! Yes, MS Dhoni still has the fire in him to hit towering 6's whenever and wherever he wants to. Virat Kohli's RCB succumbed to yet another defeat even after scoring more than 200 runs in a typical T20 wicket. With the asking rate more than 12, MSD hit seven towering hits over the fence and CSK won the match with two balls to spare. RCB while batting first looked to be in great touch. Although Skipper Virat Kohli failed again, the team rallied around the likes of AB de Villiers and Mandeep Singh. They lost the plot in the middle by losing wickets consistently but somehow managed to cross the 200 runs mark.
No doubt, CSK has been a good chaser and this time too they did not disappoint the ‘Whistle Podu’ fans cheering for them. Although Shane Watson could not manage much, Ambati Rayadu played a gem of an innings. Umesh Yadav yet again bowled an inspiring spell for RCB but that was not enough. Although CSK kept on losing wickets, MS Dhoni ensured a tidy finish with seasoned campaigner Dwayne Bravo. CSK is definitely playing like a true champion but they will need players like Ravindra Jadeja and others to perform. RCB need to rethink their plans and fringe players like Pawan Negi and others need to put up a decent show in the middle. After all, 200 runs is not a safe score anymore when you are playing against MS Dhoni is a bludgeoning mood with the bat!
