Enrique out of East Bengal before the Derby

Enrique Esqueda is out of the team for the match agaist Mohun Bagan in the Derby on Sunday. East Bengal has found themselves in an injury conundrum after the first half of Saturday`s match in which they defeated Gokulam Fc to regain back their hopes. East Bengal coach Alejandro Garcia said that the injury is related to chest pain and apprehensions are that he has a fractured bone. There are several tests that he will undergo before arriving at any decision regarding Sunday`s derby , East Bengal Official Shanti Ranjan Dasgupta said. Rumours had it,that the former Mexican International may be released if he could not recover on time. Garcia along with striker Jobby Justin flew to Bengaluru after Sunday`s practice session. There they will have a meeting with the officials of East Bengal`s investors Quess Corp, and their discussions may revolve around Enrique`s possible replacement and other reinforcements.Enrique might be the next to get a release after Al Amna, who suffered a back injury with the high voltage clash against arch rivals MohunBagan.
