FC Pune City Earns Hard Fought Victory

FC Pune City finally earned their first victory of this year’s ISL by edging past Jamshedpur FC 2-1. Although Jamshedpur played a very pressing game they failed to convert the chances. Diego Carlos, the Brazilian, scored within the first five minutes of the match. However, Jamshedpur gave a swift reply via Sumeet Passi in the 10^th minute, to settle the goal difference. Unfortunately for the Jamshedpur team, Matt Mills’ decisive goal on the 86^th minute brought the Pune team to eighth position with five points from eight matches. On the other hand, Jamshedpur now have 11 points from same number of matches.
