Football: FIFA revealed the global audience

FIFA revealed some astonishing and astounding figures about the global audience that watched the World Cup 2018. FIFA has 211 countries as members that is almost the entire world plays football or is somehow associated with football. FIFA informed that a combined audience of 1.2 billion watched the World Cup Final 2018 between France and Croatia.FIFA revealed that a total of 3.577 billion people watched the World Cup for at least a minute which is more than half the worlds population. 2.47 billion watched at least one-third of one match  which was 1.95 billion in 2014`s World Cup. FIFA calculated that the average audience for  each match was 191 million,the governing body of world football said. 9.5 percent of the audience watched the telecast through internet.
