Igor Stimac taking Charge as the Indian Coach

The Croatian legend was declared as the Indian National Football team’s Coach a day ago or so, by the All India Football Federation. Keeping in mind, the recent performances by the entire team led by Sunil Chettri, the team needed someone like Igor Stimac with 18-years of experience in coaching multiple clubs and national teams in his career. However, shortly after his coaching career for the Indian Football team kickstarted, he named 37 probable players for the preparatory camps for the Kings Cup ahead in the season. The camp is scheduled to start from May 20 onwards. According to reports, Stimac has been doing his homework on each player to learn about their game, strengths and weaknesses as some players have intrigued him to summon some of them to the camp and looks forward to coaching the Blue Tigers. Sadly enough, among the 37 players, striker Jeje Lalpekhlua has been ruled out due to injury and scheduled operation in the 3rd week of May. Other injured players like Mandar Rao Desai, Halicharan Narzary, Narender Gehlot were cleared off in the list.

The Total List as follows:
