Rohit Sharma’s impressive form continued as he scored 162 at the Brabourne Stadium, assisted by Rayudu’ 100 as India put up a daunting total of 377/5. In response West Indies got all out for a paltry 153 as India registered a thumping 224 runs victory. India now lead the series 2-1. Rohit and Rayudu put up a commanding 211 runs partnership for the third wicket.
West Indies, had there not been a valiant effort by Jason Holder, who scored 54, they would have got all out for an even less total on the board. They didn’t get the start that they had hoped for. Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav were very sharp on the field. Khaleel Ahmed was spot on with his bowling efforts, as he picked up three wickets and completely destroyed the Windies middle order. And finally Yadav and Jadeja wrapped up their innings.
