India Placed Second In ICC ODI Rankings

On the back of two ODI series win over Australia and New Zealand, India currently has 122 points, as per the latest update of ICC. The team remained at the second spot in the ICC ODI rankings, and skipper Virat Kohli and pacer Jasprit Bumrah continued to top the respective charts for batsmen and bowlers. India is placed behind England(126). Owing to the strong show against Australia, fetching him the player of the series award, MS Dhoni moved up three places to the 17th position in the batting list.

On the other hand, New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult surged to the third in the rankings for bowlers after finishing with 12 wickets in the just-concluded series against India. Only Bumrah and Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan are ahead of Boult in the rankings. Among the others to move up the rankings, Chahal is up by one place to fifth and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is up by six places to 17th.
