Iniesta comes good finally for Barcelona along with Messi

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta twice set up his teammate Lionel Messi, created a goal for Cesc Fabregas and goaled a spectacular effort of his own as La Liga champions Barcelona stretched their near-perfect beginning with a heroic 4-0 win at Levante.

The Spain gaming spearhead's sensational performance at Levante's Ciutat de Valencia Stadium helped remain unbeaten Barca's three-point lead over Atletico Madrid, who earlier defeated nine-man Sevilla 4-0.

Barca's win, which is their 12th in 13 matches, escalate them 11 points clear of third-placed champions Real Madrid.

It was Benat Etxebarria who offered Real Betis an unexpected 1-0 victory over Real in Seville to maintain that the champions gain eight points behind leaders Barcelona having attempted for a game more.

Spanish midfielder Benat struck back on an error to score after 17 minutes and Jose Mourinho's team was left clueless for sure in the second half.

Betis ensured that the visitors were under pressure and took the lead when Alvaro Arbeloa's miscued clearance reached Benat who skipped past Sami Khedira and directed a low shot past Iker Casillas.

Atletico Madrid moved further with their best ever league as Diego Simeone's side rolled over nine-man Sevilla 4-0.

Radamel Falcao got Atletico moving from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute after Federico Fazio was handed out with a red card for using foul language against Jorge 'Koke' Resurrecion in the area.

In Italy, Juventus holed out a chance to move seven points clear at the top of Series A with a 1-0 defeat at AC Milan.

A Robinho penalty in the 31st minute took control of the game entirely in the Rossoneri's favour as Juve were beaten for only the second time this season.

Torino and Fiorentina shared four goals in an breathtaking 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico. Alessio Cerci put the home side in front in the 40th minute and Gonzalo Rodriguez responded from the penalty spot in the 74th minute.

Valter Birsa's first goal for Torino shot back into the lead two minutes later, but Mounir El Hamdaoui struck five minutes from time to snatch a point for the Viola.

Interesting results were obtained in the other games as well. For instance, it was Andrea Poli's goal that sealed a 1-0 win that both moved Sampdoria further clear of the relegation zone and condemned Bologna to a seventh defeat in eight away games.

Personally, it was Messi’s show all the way as far as Barca’s match is considered. Teaming up perfectly with Iniesta, the Argentine superstar managed to catapult his team back to victory in a highly rewarding manner.

But coach Tito Vilanova does not see the league as being won so early in the season.

"The league is not over, we're only a third through and Atletico are three points behind us. There is a lot to play for. We have been 11 ahead of Madrid before and we suffered a lot in the end," he said.

With all these performances, the whole tournament has come back to life especially with Barca’s latest win.
