Brazilian forward Kaka of AC Milan scored his first goal, which was a fantastic curling shot, since his return to the club at the start of the season. Anyway, his struggling team were held by 1-1 at home by Lazio in Serie A at San Siro on Wednesday.

On the other side, second-placed Napoli won by 2-1 at Fiorentina, who were enraged following midfielder Juan Cuadrado was dismissed after being twice booked for diving in the penalty area, as the second incident came up in the stoppage time.

Further Champions Juventus, who was helped by a certain Andrea Pirlo free kick, outlasted Catania by 4-0 to remain intact on points with Napoli. Vividly, both Napoli and Juventus scored 25 points from 10 games, just two behind leaders AS Roma, who hosted Chievo Verona on Thursday.

Kaka, who returned at the San Siro after four unhappy seasons with Real Madrid and recuperated from a thigh injury, suffered in his first game and gave Milan the lead in the 54th minute. Moreover, Lazio answered back with a goal from defender Michael Ciani, placing Milan on 10th on 12 points.

Kaka declared to the media that he always works hard. He doesn't know if he can return to play at the level of eight years ago but he is trying very hard. He added that everyone is saying that he is giving a lot to Milan. He wanted to play in the World Cup in his country next year and that is where Milan is helping him.

On the other side, Jose Callejon awarded Napoli a 12th minute lead at Fiorentina, when he curled in Gonzalo Higuain's cross, however the hosts settled with a penalty converted by Giuseppe Rossi, which is his ninth league goal of the season. Remarkably, the spot kick was awarded following Matias Fernandez proceeded.

Further, Cuadrado struck the post for Fiorentina, before Belgian Dries Mertens push the visitors quite ahead in the 36th minute. Then Fiorentina departed from the field enraged, after they had three penalty appeals rejected after the break-2 from Cuadrado and 1 by Rossi. It was observed that the referee displayed a yellow card for simulation each time.

Anyway, Gokhan Inler of Colombia apparently made contact with Cuadrado in the last of the three incidents, although he exaggerated when he went down.

Next, Arturo Vidal placed Juventus right ahead with a deflected shot before Pirlo hit with a brilliant free kick just before halftime. Again Carlos Tevez and Leonardo Bonucci added 2 more goals during the second half.
