Finally, IPL organisers managed to announce IPL 7 schedule. Today IPL governing council arranged meeting for IPL 2014 schedule. The meeting is over and outcome is that, the opening match of IPL 2014 will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on April 16 between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders. The first phase of the IPL will have 20 matches in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai from April 16-30, the organisers have announced.
Second phase of IPL 7 will be played in Bangladesh and Third and final phase of IPL 2014 will be returned to India after General Election over in India. 2nd phase matches will be held during 1st April to 12th April in Bangladesh. After 12th April when election of India over, remaining matches will be played in India. 16th April will be the counting day of Indian General Election so, there will be rest day for IPL season 2014. India is likely to host 60 to 70 percent matches in the last phase.
Final match of IPL 7 will be played on 1st June, 2014 for title of Indian Premier League season 2014.
Here we have given first 20 match IPL 2014 schedule. These first phase matches will be played at United Arab Emirates in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah stadiums between 16th April to 30th April 2014. Each IPL 2014 team will play 5 matches at UAE.
