Mohammedan Sporting Club bagged the 65th Bordoloi Trophy as they defeated Oil India 3-1 in the final. Atcha put the side ahead in the 26th minute, as Adjah scored in a span of four minutes to double the lead. Milan Boro scored for the Oil India in the 87th minute but it was too late. The Sporting side were deserving winners in Guwahati on Thursday at the Nehru Stadium.
Mohammedan Sporting added a number of accolades. Laltu Mondal was declared the best goalkeeper. Ghanian forward Adjah was adjudged man of the tournament. The side also won Rs. 3 lakhs for their victory.
