Mohun Bagan Bounces Back!!!

After the loss against arch rivals East Bengal, the Mariners are back again with a convincing win against Minerva Punjab FC. Mohun Baganare currently at the sixth position on the table, with 12 points from 8 outings. Forward Henry Kisekka’s decisive goal in the 80^th minute of the match helped the Kolkata giants defeat the hosts by 1-0 margin. Mohun Bagan coach Sankarlal Chakraborty was thrilled with the victory, as was evident from his actions after the final whistle, thanking the loyal travelling supporters. Although both the teams had a shaky start to the match, Bagan found their rhythm after the initial ten minutes, creating more chances. In the match against Minerva, Gurjinder Kumar filled in place of suspended Eze Kingsley. Due to the presence of five midfielders in the match, Bagan enjoyed a lot of ball possession and finally wrapped up the proceedings in the final ten minutes of the match.
