Mumbai City Wins 4-2

Mumbai City FC inflicted yet another loss on Delhi Dynamos to register a comprehensive 4-2 win. Mumbai completely dominated the second half as they scored all the four goals within 80 minutes of the match. After an own goal from Souvik Chakraborty provided Delhi with an early lead, Mumbai scored their first goal via penalty conversion from Rafael Bastos in the 49th minute. And then an own goal from Marti Crespi helped Mumbai to go 2-1 up. Although the lead was cut down by Gianni Zuiverloon in the 64th minute of the match, the Delhi side could not hold on to it for long. Raynier Fernandez and Paulo Machado scored a goal each on 69th and 80th minute respectively to secure a victory for Mumbai FC. With this win, Mumbai grabbed the fourth spot in the ISL table while Delhi remained at the bottom without any win. The victory was a satisfactory result for the Mumbai team as they avenged the previous year’s 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Delhi Dynamos.
