The controversies have been heated-up though T20 World Cup hasn’t started. It not fixed yet whether world cup will be hosted in Bangladesh or not, Pakistan team has signaled that they might walkout from this competition.
According to the news, Bangladesh is having political issues and some other disputes as well. There is possibility as well that T20 World Cup might be shifted to other country due to situations and conditions in Bangladesh.
Pakistan and Bangladesh never had great relations and so as their cricketing boards as well. Pakistan board PCB has left the decision on Pakistan government about sending team to Bangladesh or not for this ICC world tournament and Asia cup also.
There is too much excitement for India-Pakistan 2014 T20 World Cup group match and if Pakistan pulls out from the tournament, cricket lovers will be too much sad as both teams will be against each other after a long period of time.
PCB’s interim committee has mentioned that Pakistan’s participation in ICC T20 World Cup will depend on government’s decision. This committee is also waiting for International cricket council’s decision about shifting of the tournament or not.
Pakistan cricket board doesn’t want to take any kind of risk which can cost to the Pak team players. Already Pakistani people living in Bangladesh are facing problems and targeted by the agitators. If the situation comes under control Pakistan will definitely look forward for the tournament.
If Pak walks out from the tournament it will not be beneficial for 20-20 world cup as other teams may also think like that. Everyone is waiting for ICC’s decision about tournament hosting, lets hope we have a great successful T20 World Cup.
