The Premier League 18/19 season is finally underway and we have already witnessed a few mouth-watering clashes. In the season opener, United went up against Leicester City. Goals from Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba from the spot ensured the Red Devils all three points. Liverpool started their campaign well, winning 4-0 at Anfield.
Salah is already on his way to prove that he is so much more than a mere one-season wonder. A goal from him and two more from Mane had already pretty much ensured a victory for the Reds. Daniel Sturridge put in a late 4th to send them top of the table on goal difference. Newcomer Naby Keita has massively impressed the fans with his on-field presence and work rate.
Chelsea defeated Huddersfield in their season opener. World cup winner Kante scored the first goal before new signing Jorginho made it 2-0 from the spot right before the break. Pedro scored the last goal late in the match to give Chelsea its first victory of the season.
Arsenal were not so lucky though. Playing at home, they went up against the defending champions, Manchester City. New season, new manager, but same old Arsenal. In a lack-lustre performance, they went down against the Citizens. Raheem Sterling scored the first goal in the 14th minute of the match. Bernardo Silva scored the second around the 64th minute mark to overcome the Arsenal-challenge.
