Robin Van Persie drove Manchester United to victory against Aston Villa in EPL

Manchester United produced a dashing and stylish performance to capture the English Premier League titles to 20. They overcame Aston Villa by 3-0 to end up the championship with four matches. Above all, they have reclaimed the trophy from local opponent Manchester City.

United's driving force in all season Robin Van Persie who was wearing a No. 20 shirt scored all the three goals in a clinical first-half display. He is the top scorer in the league with 24 goals in his first season with United. TheNetherlands striker exclaimed that it is a great feeling. He added that it is a fantastic team, fantastic players and a championship for every single one of them.

Alex Ferguson's decision to sign Van Persie in the last offseason for 24 million pounds has proved to be a masterstroke. This was a robust price paid for a preceding injury-prone player with only a year remaining on his Arsenal contract. As Ferguson strolled into the center circle moments after the final whistle, he was shortly hugged by Van Persie, who left behind Ferdinand and his remaining teammates rejoicing in front of fans and carved a beeline for the Scot.

Ferguson, who secured the 49th trophy of his managerial career, revealed that he remembers that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger disclosing that Van Persie is a better player than he thinks which could be right. In terms of impact, he thinks that it is as big as anyone can remember.

Van Persie spearheaded the attack by scoring the opener after just 83 seconds and then steering in a sublime hit in the 12th which ultimately led his team to victory dethroning their nearest rival City. As soon as Van Persie clinched his hat trick in the 33rd, giving United an unbeatable 16-point lead over City, the party started right away.

United claimed the 13th title in 21 seasons of the Premier League with almost a month remaining in the season. All are playing under Ferguson and the earliest a club has claimed the EPL title since United in 2001. Ferguson declared that it is sweet and does not matter when one wins it. The consistency was phenomenal and they have lived up to the expectation. United has already thrown away an eight-point lead with six games to play last season. They were eager to haul the title at the first chance this time. The advantage was that, there was no danger of failure against relegation-threatened Villa. United's players celebrated gloriously before all four ends of Old Trafford. The defeat last year seriously upset them, especially coming from a fierce opponent and in the final moment of the season. The United midfielder Ryan Giggs still going strong at 39 revealed that when one lose it in the way that they did last year, it is always special to win it back in style.

Van Persie's second goal will occupy a place among the best at Old Trafford in current years. He had connected smartly from the edge of the area following a weighted pass from Wayne Rooney without a mistake. He darted along the touchline to receive the applause of Old Trafford just after the goal.Fergusonadmitted that it is the goal of the season as far as he is concerned. It was a technique head over the ball and was a wonderful strike.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini earlier admitted that Van Persie was the difference between the two teams this season. Each of the three goals must have been painful to view for the blue half of Manchester.

The rejoicing United faithful sang "That's why we are champions" midway through the first half with the title in the bag. The trophy will be handed over to the United after its last home game of the season against Swansea on 12th May. Villa will most probably be included in a relegation battle then. This loss placed the team only three points above the bottom three. They just have four games left. Giggs has stayed with United for all 13 league titles and the Welsh midfielder played a crucial role in Van Persie's rest of the two goals. His moderate volley along the face of the 6-yard net box was tapped in by Van Persie to award United the perfect beginning with hardly a minute played. The striker exhibited a cool head to haul his hat trick, shortly crossing Giggs, rounding goalkeeper Brad Guzan and aiming his shot into the top corner off the post from 7 yards distance. Van Persie will possibly finish the league's top scorer for the second season as he is one clear of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. Suarez is likely to be banned for the final month for biting a rival on Sunday. The perfect first season ended up with England's new champions.
