Sachin Tendulkar in tears as he bids farewell for the last time to his coach Ramakant Achrekar

Renowned Ramakant Achrekar, Sachin Tendulkar's childhood coach who passed away in Mumbai on Wednesday at the age of 87 in his Shivaji Nagar residence was cremated on Thursday in front of some famous personalities who paid they are tribute to the great man. Bidding adieu was not so easy for Sachin Tendulkar who had Tears in his eyes as he sees his teacher for the last time. The young Cricketers who practiced at Shivajinagar paid guard of honour and Chanted "Amar rahe". Is other wards along with Vinod Kambli, Chandrakant Pandit, Balvinder Singh Sandhu 2 part in the profession towards the crematorium where his body was consigned to flames. Office bearers of the Mumbai Cricket Association informer Rajasthan coach Pradeep Sundaram also paid their last respects. Raj Thackeray, Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwara and MLA Ashish Shelar were also present there. Ramakant Achrekar gifted us with the first Bharat Ratna awardee from sports fraternity Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and would always be remembered with high regards.
