The World no.2 badminton player Saina Nehwal and men's former World no.1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia will participate in a ramp on the eve of the India Open Superseries on Sunday.
Saina revealed that it is going to be unique and something different. She admitted that walking the ramp would not be easy because they are not models, they are players. She added that it is good that badminton is coming up in a good way and she hopes everyone enjoys it.
Previously, Saina had walked the ramp in 2010 during the Hyderabad Fashion Week.
India's top male shuttler Parupallu Kashyap is highly excited at the event of cladding a designer wear.
Kashyap acknowledged that it will be exciting to walk the ramp. He has never done it. He hopes it comes up well and is sure all the other top badminton stars will also be there walking the ramp along with him. He hopes he looks good.
Leading doubles players Ashwini Ponappa and Jwala Gutta will also grace the occasion. We wish all of them a very exciting evening.
The India Open Sunrise Superseries is supposed to commence at the DDA Badminton and Squash Stadium, Siri Fort Complex, from 23rd to 28th April 2013.
