Former India captain Sourav Ganguly opined that this is the best time for the Kohli boys to beat Australia without Smith and Warner while he came for the prize distribution of ‘Aro Sapno Aro Bere Otho’ contest of Complan. Sourav said ‘this is like the Indian team not having Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. It is a huge factor’. Sourav articulated that the Indian bowlers performed pretty well in the England series so he is hopeful they will execute the same in the coming series against Australia.
India suffered huge losses against South Africa and England in both their away series there by awakening lack of confidence in the team but India is a strong side and can outperform any team. But “you also have to keep in mind that Australia in Australia is a different kettle of fish. Many feel they are a weak outfit but I do not think so” Ganguly added. He urged the Indian Team to remain cautious. India will play four Test matches against Australia with the first test starting from 6th December in Adelaide.
