It is still afresh in our minds, how Hima Das made an unstoppable run on an international track to cease 6 gold medals in a span of 3 weeks. Just not Hima Das, but several other athletes had made an important international show, that has given us not only different medals, but, let us keep our heads high. In a recent competition held in Czech Republic, after Das’s unbelievable stint, now VK Vismaya made another super display of speed to add another Gold to the record.
The 400m run at the International Athletic Meeting in Brno, Czech Republic, resulted in Vismaya’s wrapping up the race with her personal best cloaking time of 52.12 seconds. With improved longer strides, Vismaya have been making herself count among the speedsters of her time. The unstoppable Hima Das did not compete in the event.
The 22-years old, Kerela’s VK Vismay’s, previous best cloaking time was 52.48, at Nové Mesto nad Metují, in last month. With Vismaya claiming the gold at top, the rest of the two spots were also claimed by Indian athletes as well. MR Poovamma and Subha Venkatesan consecutively crossed the line in second and third position, with a cloaking time of 53.47s and 53.67s respectively.
